Family sessions take place outdoors near sunset at parks, conservation areas, or lakes in the KC Metro area.
Sessions are between 30-60 minutes long.

What to expect:
I [typically] begin a session with that well-known 'Holiday Card Photo' where we all stand + smile, but I specialize in capturing the sweetness surrounding those bigger moments; the transitions. After a few prompts to help everyone loosen up, the true moments begin to shine - little ones sharing whispers, mama snagging a kiss from her youngest baby, little sister twirling her dress [because it finally has pockets]... everything. I photograph a session exactly how I would want my family to be photographed + that includes everything in-between whether you're looking at the camera or not.
You'll possibly leave your session feeling as if the chaos completely took over... + [for the most part] I hope it does. Bring the love, bring the sarcasm, I'm excited to get you in front of my camera.
Turnaround time is typically 4 weeks during non-busy season [fall/winter sessions can expect longer wait times as holidays get closer]. Sneak peeks are included with your session as freebies.
