ADDITIONAL IMAGE PRICE: $15/image

- Each session comes with the option to purchase additional images from your proofing gallery at an individual rate per image.

- Additional images are also Fully Edited.

- Total Add-On Price is paid separately from session price, paid through an invoice with PayPal or Venmo.

- 6+ Members in a single session (Family, Movement, Business Sessions) must purchase additional time for your session.

- WHAT IF MY CHILD(REN) CAN'T LAST AN ENTIRE HOUR?
That's no problem. Although you are paying for a maximum shooting time, I guarantee stunning images whether we meet that time limit or not.
BOOK YOUR SESSION BASED ON IMAGE NUMBER, NOT SESSION TIME LENGTH!

- WHAT IF MY CHILD(REN) DON'T PARTICIPATE IN THE SESSION?
I will do my best to get great shots of your family, whether everyone participates or not. If I am unhappy with the images I am getting from the session because of lack of participation, I will let you know ASAP. I am not responsible for family members not cooperating during a session (including no smiles).
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION OR NO SMILES.

- WARDROBE NO NOs:
Neon colors.
Words on shirts [unless intentional].
Dirty shoes.
Hair-tie on wrist.
Phones in pocket.
Wallets in pocket.

- WHAT IF I NEED HELP CHOOSING OUTFITS?
Feel free to reach out to me, I will gladly help guide you toward the best outfits for your family!

- WHO CHOOSES THE LOCATION?
We decide together on the best location for your shoot!

- HOW DO I DECIDE WHAT TO WEAR?
Decide what's most flattering for you!
Tight Dancewear, flowing skirts, Casual street clothes...
Accessories that can be removed without CHANGING are always welcome (skirts over shorts, jean shorts over briefs, sweater/baggy shirt over bra top, etc). If an entire wardrobe change needs to take place, a Full Session is required.

- SHOES?
Most sessions are barefoot. Barefoot counts as "one shoe option."
Pointe shoes or street shoes are also great options.
Half Sessions offer ONE shoe option, Full Sessions offer TWO shoe options.

- COLORS?
There aren't many colors to stay away from in a Movement session...
Please avoid words on clothing unless purposely making a statement.
Keep Carly updated on colors so your location compliments your outfit!

- WHAT SHOULD I BRING ALONG?
Sandals or easy slip-on shoes.
Water bottle.
Full Sessions: Bring a large blanket or sheet for quick change [we may be far from vehicle].
Large bag to carry accessories or outfit options [again, we may be far from vehicle].
Makeup + Lipstick.
Hairspray.
Hair ties for hair change, if necessary.

Time moves quickly... thankfully images hold a moment perfectly in time with our sweet little babies. Here is everything you need to know regarding your newborn session:

- DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS?
Yes! I will bring everything for your session!

- COLORS?
Sessions include gorgeous neutrals, but I may ask you for one pop of color to add for your session.

- DO I NEED TO BE AVAILABLE/PREPARED TO HELP DURING THE SESSION?
Not at all, this is a time for you to finally sit back and relax! Feel free to watch the session, get ready for the day, or take a nap with no worries!


- HOW TO PREPARE - THE DAY OF YOUR SESSION:
1. Feed your baby as close to your session start-time as possible.
2. Undress baby and keep wrapped in warm blanket (preferably before feeding).
3. Bring pacifier, even if they refuse them.
4. Bring extra diapers + wipes.
5. If not nursing, bring an extra bottle in case baby gets hungry.

**Feeding + Diaper breaks will be given during the session as needed, plan accordingly**

LANDSCAPE SESSIONS:
(Conservation Areas, Lakes, Creeks, Public Land)
- Shoot before Noon OR before Sunset.
- No additional retainer fee due at booking.

CITYSCAPE SESSIONS:
(Crossroads, Westbottoms, Bridges, Museums, Downtown KC)
- Shoot before Noon ONLY.
- No additional retainer fee due at booking.

GREENHOUSE SESSIONS:
- Morning session due to lighting.
- Typically humid in summer months.
- Additional retainer fee due at booking..

CREEK SESSIONS:
- Morning/early afternoon session is best due to lighting [especially for dancers].
- You do not have to get wet in the creek.
- Easy parking, long walk from parking lot.
- No additional retainer fee due at booking.

LIFESTYLE/PARKVILLE STUDIO SESSIONS:
- Morning session before 2pm.
- Additional retainer fee due at booking.

WESTBOTTOMS STUDIO SESSIONS:
- Morning session before 2pm.
- Additional retainer fee due at booking.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Will we receive a variety of shots from our location?
Yes. No matter your session size, we will walk around to give as much variety as possible!

- Can I use a location that is used all the time?
Absolutely! The location may be used frequently, but the location will be new to YOU! If there's a location that will print beautifully in your home, let's go there! Don't let its popularity hold you back!

- Can we shoot at a new location?
Of course! I am constantly scouting new locations for my clients!

During the booking process, I will send you an invoice. This invoice will give you the ability to pay your $75 nonrefundable retainer first.
**An higher nonrefundable retainer will be due for Studio Sessions and Greenhouse sessions.

Once your retainer has been paid [through PayPal or Venmo], you won't be responsible for the remaining balance until the date of your session!

You will receive payment reminders for your retainer AND your remaining balance. This is helpful for clients who book far in advance for prime locations + seasons.

**Retainer payments are nonrefundable.
**If an emergency causes a client to cancel a session, a refund of the remaining balance will be given. Please keep in mind, clients will not receive a refund for a session due to uncooperative child(ren).
**Rescheduling a session is fully acceptable and best to do within the same calendar year.

Do you offer any discounts for your photography sessions?
- Yes, I offer 20% discount for referrals! The client must MENTION YOUR NAME during the inquiry/booking process first. Once they have paid their retainer, 20% is added to your account.
**You must be a client with an account on file to receive the discount**
**If a referred client does not give your name, you will not receive the discount. I cannot be expected to assume where the the referral came from**

- Particular events I attend also will give clients a discount. This will always be mentioned in an email to you!
